EducationUniversity of Scranton - BS, Biology
ExperienceAs far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated with how scientific events happen and with nature itself. This passion carried into high school where it grew into studying chemistry and biology. After high school graduation, I felt the best career option would be a chemist or biologist or, maybe, a researcher. I enrolled at the University of Scranton and was fortunate to be given many chances to learn biology, and I ultimately chose this for my major. I discovered an interest in the humanity courses as well when I took classes in psychology and philosophy. I liked them so much that I minored in philosophy. I also chose to take pre-med classes. I am fluent in Spanish. I thought it would be a good idea to help others in Spanish, so I decided to become a tutor. I have also tutored biology, the subject I like the most, and chemistry. I am very determined to finish school with a bachelor's degree in biology, a minor in philosophy, and a pre-med concentration. I intend to continue my education in medicine focusing on psychiatry, pediatrics, or sports medicine. My plan is to tutor individuals in subjects I know best. I believe my 3 years of experience tutoring individuals shows that I am a qualified tutor, and I will gain knowledge as I go.
