Previous tutoring experience at Sylvan as well as private tutoring. Have taught in both middle school and high school settings. Recently completed prestigious international fellowship which focused on teaching math science together to over 100 middle school students. Have always had a knack for math and truly enjoying teaching it. My tutoring philosophy is based on two key concepts: 1) No two students learn identically and therefore it is my job to cater my tutoring style to each student's individual need. 2) People learn more efficiently when they know WHY they are doing something rather than just HOW to do it. My goal is to make sure that each of my students knows why they are doing what they are doing.
